Terms of Service.

The plain-language rules of working with us — what we build, how our pay-on-results model works, who owns what, and the limits on either side. No fine-print traps.

1 · Scope of services

What we provide.

MyEscapeRoute is a growth-first web design studio serving businesses across India. We design and build conversion-focused websites and run the customer-acquisition work that drives qualified enquiries to them.

A typical engagement covers some or all of the following: discovery and strategy for your business and ideal customer; custom website design, copywriting, and development; setup of lead capture, click-to-call, and tracking; and traffic and lead-generation activity such as local SEO and targeted paid media. The exact deliverables, timelines, and any third-party costs (for example, advertising budgets, hosting, or domain fees) are confirmed in a written engagement for your specific project before work begins. Where our homepage describes the broader approach, see what we do for context — but the binding scope is always the written engagement.

We work only with businesses we genuinely believe we can deliver results for, which is why we may decline or pause an engagement if the fit is wrong. Anything outside the agreed scope is treated as a new request and quoted separately in writing.

2 · The pay-on-results model

Pay only when your first client calls.

Our commercial model is simple and stated plainly here: there is no upfront fee, and nothing is invoiced for the build while we design and develop your site. The project fee for the build becomes payable only when your new website delivers its first agreed qualified lead.

The specific fee or fee structure is agreed per engagement and written down before any work starts. We carry the upfront risk — our time, design, development, and expertise — so you don't have to. If the website does not produce a qualified lead within the engagement window we agree, no project fee is owed for the build. Optional ongoing services, such as continued traffic management or third-party ad spend, are separate, are agreed in advance, and are billed on their own terms.

  • ₹0 upfront — nothing to pay to get started
  • Nothing invoiced for the build while we design and develop
  • Build fee triggers only on the first agreed qualified lead
  • All fees and triggers confirmed in writing before work begins

3 · What "qualified lead" means

A real enquiry, not noise.

A qualified lead is a genuine, relevant inbound enquiry generated through the website we build — usually a phone call, completed contact form, or WhatsApp message from a real prospective customer interested in what you sell, captured through the tracking we set up so the source can be verified.

Spam, bots, wrong numbers, accidental clicks, test submissions, enquiries from you or your team, recruitment or vendor pitches, and contacts clearly outside your service area or product range do not count. Because each business differs, the precise definition — including any minimums and how disputed leads are reviewed — is set out in your written engagement before work starts, keeping the trigger for payment objective and fair.

4 · Client responsibilities

What we need from you.

For the model to work quickly, we rely on you to provide timely, accurate inputs. That includes business information, content and assets (such as logos, photos, service details, and pricing where relevant), and reasonable access to the accounts we need — for example your domain registrar, hosting, Google Business Profile, and any advertising accounts. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any materials you supply.

You also agree to respond to enquiries the website generates and to review and approve work within the timeframes we agree. Delays in providing content, access, or approvals will naturally extend timelines, and the engagement window for the lead trigger is adjusted accordingly. Honest, prompt collaboration is the single biggest factor in how fast your phone starts ringing.

5 · Intellectual property & ownership

You own the final site.

Once the relevant build fees are paid, you own the final website — the design, the page content we create for you, and the underlying code of your delivered site. We hand over the working files and give reasonable help to transfer hosting and domain access. Until the build fee is paid, the deliverables remain ours.

Two reasonable exceptions apply. Third-party components — fonts, stock imagery, plugins, and open-source libraries — remain under their own licences, which carry over to you. And our internal tools, frameworks, processes, and general know-how stay ours to reuse on other projects. You grant us permission to reference the work in our portfolio and case studies in a way that doesn't disclose confidential information, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

6 · Limitation of liability

The sensible limits.

We put real effort into results, but we can't guarantee specific outcomes such as a fixed number of leads, sales, rankings, or revenue — these depend on factors beyond our control, including your market, pricing, responsiveness, and third-party platforms like Google. Our services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyEscapeRoute is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption. Where any liability does arise, it is capped at the total fees actually paid by you to us for the engagement giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

7 · Governing law & contact

Governed by Indian law.

These terms, and any engagement entered into under them, are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India (or the place specified in your written engagement). We'll always try to resolve concerns informally and in good faith first. For questions about these terms or your engagement, email us at hello@myescaperoute.in.

For how we handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy. To understand the model before you commit, the homepage explains how it works step by step.

Common questions about these terms

Quick answers.

No fee is payable when you sign on, and nothing is invoiced while we design, write, and build the website. The fee becomes payable only after your new website has delivered its first qualified lead — a genuine inbound enquiry from a real prospective customer. Before any work begins we put the specifics in a written engagement: the exact fee or fee structure, what counts as a qualified lead for your business, and how leads are tracked. If the website never produces a qualified lead within the agreed window, no project fee is owed for the build. Optional ongoing services, such as continued traffic management or paid-media budgets, are billed separately and stated in writing in advance.

A qualified lead is a real, relevant inbound enquiry generated by the website we build for you — typically a phone call, completed contact form, or WhatsApp message from a genuine prospective customer interested in what you sell. It must come through the tracking we set up so the source is verifiable. Spam, bots, wrong numbers, accidental clicks, test submissions, enquiries from you or your staff, recruitment or vendor pitches, and contacts plainly outside your service area or product range do not count. Because every business is different, we agree the precise definition in writing before work starts, including any minimums and how disputed leads are reviewed — keeping the trigger for payment objective and fair for both parties.

You do. Once the relevant fees for the build have been paid, you own the final website — the design, the page content we create for you, and the underlying code of your delivered site. Until the build fee is paid, we retain ownership of the deliverables. These points are confirmed in your written engagement so ownership and licensing are clear before launch.

These terms, and any engagement under them, are governed by the laws of India. The courts having jurisdiction over the place specified in your written engagement — or, where none is specified, the courts of competent jurisdiction in India — will hear any dispute. We'll always try to resolve concerns informally and in good faith first, because a long relationship matters more than a short argument. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you may have under applicable Indian consumer protection law. This page is a plain-language template for transparency; it is not legal advice.
